RETURN OF THE JAM
OCT. 26TH 6PM

Return of the Jam On It Showcase was a great culminating event, featuring the talents of NYC Slam Champions: Eboni (Urbana 2008) & Jamaal St. John (Nuyorican 2008 & SoundBites 2007).

The night was opened with a couple of poems from a Bronx favorite, Advocate of Wordz as he tore through the crowd with his signature poem "Me and Food Got Beef." Our $250 Winner, B Yung, returned to the stage for a time-friendly feature of his work, including the sanctioned "I Am A Queen" about the chess board rules and its significance in the real world. Afterwards, Mahogany L. Browne, co-founder/producer of SoundBites shared her new piece, feature on BET's Political Slam, for presidential candidate Obama as well as her well known mantra "Single Muva's Song."
